ceramic puffin by Sallie Wakley

"Orbital Wave" original mixed media, resin finish, in contemporary white frame. 64 x 64 cm

2. During Lockdown I requested via social media for nominations of people who deserved recognition for the work that they were doing for the good of others during this pandemic.

I selected Clare Dieppe to win this framed soft pastel wave original by myself. Here she is receiving her award.

Clare Dieppe

"I just to say thank you for thinking of us NHS workers A+E and ITU workers

I work with and am Clare Dieppe swimming partner/mentor we swim the Gower and welsh open water comps together. She is an amazing person and her achievements at Morriston are amazing (Behind the scenes too)

Thank you for acknowledging our efforts

We are always there for you all" Leigh Evans

When I met Clare I found her to be petite and very modest - not the statue that you might imagine a larger than life hero to be! What a lovely lovely lady, true heros walk amongst us and blend in. I would personally, and on behalf of you my readers, would like to thank Clare, and those who work with her; including Leigh Evans, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you xxxx

3. New exhibition by local professional artist Graham Parker in Tides currently. Information to be added to the website this week coming, and a new blog page released to announce formally.

In the meantime, take good care.

my kindest wishes

Jo
